Planting seeds when the weather gets warm is one of my all time favorite things to do.

How do you make this DIY Mother’s Day Seed Gift?

Step 1: Gather your supplies. – Free Printable DIY Seed Bombs Mother’s Day Tags – Sandwich Baggies – Silicone Molds (I used these) – Construction Paper

Step 2: Print off the Mother’s Day Seed Bomb labels. They’re designed specifically to fit on cheap sandwich bags, so it’s easy to make these with stuff you have at home!

Step 3: Tear and soak the construction paper. Tear the construction paper into little pieces and let them soak in water for an hour, or overnight.

Step 4: Blend the paper into pulp. After it’s soaked and is thoroughly wet, you will need to blend it into pulp so it will form into the DIY seed bombs for Mother’s Day.

Step 5: Strain the pulp for the DIY Seed Bombs. Use a mesh strainer and get most of the water out of the paper pulp.

Step 6: Place the paper pul in a bowl. Place each color, if making multiple colors, into its own bowl so you can start making your Mother’s Day DIY seed bombs.

Step 7: Fill your Seed Bomb molds half way. Press the paper pulp firmly into the silicone molds and fill them halfway full.

Step 8: Add the seeds to your DIY Seed Bombs. When you choose your seeds, make sure to get seeds that need similar sun exposure so you can mix and match these when you bag them up to give them as a gift.

Step 9: Fill the molds up. Once all your seeds are in there, finish filling your silicone molds to finish up your DIY Seed Bombs.

Step 10: Package your DIY Seed Bombs for Mother’s Day! Add a few seed bombs to the sandwich baggies, and then attach the free printable Mother’s Day seed bomb labels.
